4017c as the 2nd boom mic with Cmit 5U

Has any CMIT user had experience with 4017C as the 2nd booming, particularly when the 2nd boom is for the crowd sound or when both booms are for characters talking in a noisy environment, like in the rain or a busy street. Do they match well? Are there gonna be any problem with mixing them in the post? Thanks

Personally I think these two mics match very closely. I use them together mostly  during sit downs interviews (along with 6061/4061’s) and love the sound (match). The CMIT obviously has the benefit of built in High Pass filters and the 4017c does not. I’ve thought about getting a 4017b but really can’t justify it with the nice sound the CMIT produces. 90% of the time if I’m swinging a boom it’s my 4017c at the end. There should be no issues at all in Post.
