thenannymoh
Hello - somewhere sometime years ago I picked up a used servo-wired COS-11 lav, TA5 terminated. It's my only COS-11 mic that I own, so have no comparison here. Trying to figure out if it is the D model or not, so I can properly assess the value. Any help is appreciated! rich
is the serial number sticker gold (it looks it, but its hard to be sure from the photo)? if so then its most likely a D. otherwise, get in contact with the distributor, and they should be able to help you out. Thanks very much, it is gold, I didn't realize that was the key.
rich
im pretty sure that is the case. also, in case you werent aware, the red bit underneath the serial number means that it is a low sensitivity version.
Peter Mega
Unrelated to your question but where did you get that Velcro thingy that holds your COS11 please? Make and model also if you have it. That looks useful. I have about 50 COS11 which can get messy at times. Thanks

BAB414
I thought they were all "D"'s. What's the difference?
rich
the D was released to update the mic so it was shielded against digital rfi. mics with silver serial numbers could pick up a hiss when used with digital radio mics.
