I don't have words for this Greek "musician".

Called "Psarantonis" and he's real name Antonis Xylouris.

It's from Crete. Play "Lyra" or other name from Latin "Lura".

The "Lyra" from "Psarantonis" can be viewed in USA at

"The World's First Global Musical Instrument Museum" to Phoenix in Arizona.

July 25th of 1965 was the day rock 'n' roll changed forever. The roughly 6 minutes of this performance were why. In retrospect, it's hard to see what all the fuss was about. The song is #1 on Rolling Stone's list of all-time greatest songs. Sorry it's a hair out of sync, all the good versions were pulled off Youtube in the past year.

Happy 71st birthday, Bob.

Someone say "Rolling Stone"? This song has lyrics profound enough to stand along side any of Bob Dylans'. Whom

kind of set the bar for such things.

This band looks like they are in search of a younger band to pass the torch on to. So far no takers :~(

No claims of profundity made, I'm only citing statistics:

Today's Bob's 71st birthday.

Bob's first electric set was a part of the NFF on July 25, 1965 and the version of "Like a Rolling Stone" from that set was about 6 minutes long.

That set ruffled the folk music scene's feathers, most likely a great thing (my opinion only).

Rolling Stone magazine thinks the song is pretty good, ranking it 1 on their list of 500 best songs.

Thanks for sharing a great performance of another of my personal favorites.
