Patrick Tresch Posted May 24, 2024 Report Posted May 24, 2024 I would love to have a version with : - the R4+ as main compartiment with TC pocket as a stand alone for small bag version and - RX8+ module as an easy add on with some sort of zipper fixation and easy cable management (to put the multipin connector) and your utilities pocket (2 transmitter with mic, and some lavalier sticker accessories). 😉 Do you consider selling them? When they are finished in a couple of month I could consider selling them. An alternative for you could also be to get a custom bag from https://protogear.ca Quote
igomarsound Posted May 28, 2024 Report Posted May 28, 2024 wow. please keep us posted as I think that your bag is very nice looking and effective. thanks for sharing the making off your 1st version. I wish I had the sewing capabilities (and machines) demonstrated here. as for me I use a KTEK stingray junior X bag when i need to be on a documentary workflow whats nice about them is the 1/4 -20 thread mount, (so it can hold a phone, a antenna , etc) the bag acts also as a great protection cage itself, with its aluminium frame. and it have lots of side pockets to put all your essentials and be quick in organizing your workday and end of day (you know the type, it can be stressful not to have convenients pockets to collect all your expensive stuff coming at you at the same time, TX, IEM, camera hops, TC boxes, ... while you're trying to keep track, but hey it's better than the talent forgetting to give it back i guess...) what I dont like is that it adds some weight to the very light but powerfull r4+ setup. so what i see as an improvement for your bag, if I may, is to add these 1/4 thread mounts T nuts. such as the image here : what google lens told me as a reverse search is this text : t nuts thread 1/4 - 20 id dont know how or if it would be feasable, but here are my 2 cents. but already nice work and love your addition with the other compartiment with the AD8. impatient to see your gen2.
