nevo
hello hive mind. Im setting up a small laptop DAW with REAPER and was thinking about using my MixPre 10-2. When I plug into the Mixpre USB C port from my USB A on my computer The mixpre doesnt show up even as a 2x2 device in windows. Im running the mixpre from a 240-12v . I have downloaded the ASIO mixpre driver but the mixpre which is windows compliant ? shhould show up as 2x2. I can go back to running my yamaha micpre box via ADAT into my ferro fish and going into ethernet but was trying to make a tiny rig. Any thoughts thanks Ant
Throwback
Stating the obvious, but you do have System/USB-C set as 'Audio' not 'Power only' don't you? Cheers, Roland

Cheers, Roland The only USB function under system i can see is Normal or stereo out...... The Mixpre 10 can not be powered by USB
Throwback
Of course: my mistake (I was looking at my MixPre-3, which I also use as an interface). 'USB Audio' I have set as 'Normal'. R
franky03
Does your Windows computer installation support usb-c? The usb-c to usb-a adapter doesnt change the protocol of the mixpre (usb-c). Maybe you just need to install a driver... Franky
nevo
It was the USB cable which worked for other purposes but not the MIXPRE . New cable and ASIO drivers working.
