David Waelder
Our friends at Backstage Equipment will be exhibiting a Chinhda cart at Cinegear Expo this weekend. For those not familiar with it, Cinegear Expo has booths showing film and video equipment and also seminars, panel discussions and demonstrations. It will be at Paramount Studios in Hollywood tomorrow (Friday) from 4pm to 9pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm. You can find out more about Cinegear at this site: http://cinegearexpo.com/sem3d.html Anyway, it's a good chance to stop by and get a good look at the latest version of the cart. (and probably some other stuff like Red cameras and the like) That particular cart is pledged to a client so please don't poke and prod too vigorously. (Not that it's fragile but we'd like to deliver it unblemished.) DAvid Waelder

Brian Ferguson
Did Backstage change their name to Studio Carts? Because that was the booth I saw the Chinhda cart at.
RPSharman
Backstage had it's own booth. Not sure if they are a different company, but I saw the beautiful cart there also. A real masterpiece.
David Waelder
I asked Chinhda about the Backstage / Studio Carts confusion. He told me that the fellow who runs Studio Carts used to be a principal with Backstage. He left and started Studio Carts. So, they're related, sort-of. Sorry if anyone had to wander aimlessly through the show looking for the cart. David
Brian Ferguson
No problem I saw the Chinhda cart by accident. Before I saw the post, as I was wandering aimlessly - as usual. I recognised it from pics I saw here.
