I'm a Brazilian audio professional currently based in Canada, and I would love to hear your insights on a topic that has been on my mind. I'm considering returning to Brazil and am particularly interested in opportunities to work on international audio projects, such as documentaries, news reports, and short films. As someone with experience and knowledge of both Brazil and Canada, I believe that my ability to provide invoices from my Canadian-based company could be an advantage. However, I'm curious to know if international companies commonly hire local freelancers for such projects in Brazil. Your experiences and advice would be greatly appreciated.
