dfisk
So, I upgraded to snow leopard a little while ago, and last night I was going to dick around in iMovie. To my surprise, I couldn't find it. Is it not included in snow leopard?
DBurnette
iLife (iMovie, etc.) might not have been included on the upgrade DVD. If you wiped the computer and installed anew from the upgrade DVD, the iLife suite might not have been installed. IIRC, apple sells it for something like $30. Sucks, but the way around it is prob. to install from your computer discs (includes ilife), then upgrade, instead of wiping and re-installing. dfisk
I had a hard drive failure, and installed a new drive and then installed the OS from the install disks. is iLive not part of 10.6?
Jim Gilchrist
The straight Snow Leopard install disc only includes iTunes IIRC. iLife is preinstalled on new hardware and the stand-alone install disc is $79. It's the OS upgrade package that's $29. The install disc(s) that came with the computer will have a previous version of iLife for sure, which may work just fine.
