Philip Perkins
I didn't have good luck w/ Toast when I used it a few yrs ago, and went back to burning disks from the finder (DVD-R). No complaints so far. What's better about Toast (re Mac only)? phil p
Jan McL
I bought Toast to use burning video DVD's, and that allowed flexibility in design, quality, saving same, and options for playback (play looped, play on insert, show menu on insert), artwork, menus, etc. -- Jan
miker71
for me, Toast is quick and easy. Finder burning is fine for files only. I like the added control Toast gives me though, and it makes it dead easy to make a quick menu-less disk for a DVD player.
miker71
Just noticed there appears to be a deal on with MacUpdate where you can get a $450 bundle of Mac apps for $49 ... including Toast 10. legit as far as I know http://www.mupromo.com/
graham
I use toast to burn UDF formatted discs which are compatible with dv40s and dv824s as opposed to an external DVD RAM drive
Philip Perkins
I use toast to burn UDF formatted discs which are compatible with dv40s and dv824s as opposed to an external DVD RAM drive So you are using Toast on an INTERNAL DVD drive in a Mac laptop? I've been using an external DVD+/-/DVDRAM etc drive (Plextor) for finder burns.... phil p
Christian Spaeth
I use LiquidCD. Somewhere in between the two. It's free. Toast always struck me as being somewhat overloaded with features. http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/19994/liquidcd
RPSharman
Dragon Burn allows you to burn two DVDs simultaneously.
