hemmerlinj
And as the Senator saw the other day, I was glad to have the four SM58's and the venerable 55S "Fake Elvis Mike" along for that infomercial shoot. Once in awhile, carrying some extra mikes in the truck pays off. Now, if I just had some gray lavs... --Marc W. I saw that Sanken is making their Lavs in grey now. Or did I just miss a joke? taylormadeaudio
CMiT5U (would love to get another ASAP) CMC4/41 (x2) CMC6/41/4 (x2)(matched pairs w/ ORTF bar, and KC-5G cables, GVC's) 416 (would love to get another ASAP) COS-11 (x12) COS-11xPT (x2) (red dots for Lectro MM tx's) EMW (x2) (also for Lectro MM's) M152/WP (x2) (also for Lectro MM's) M152 (x4) (for Boom Op t/b, etc.) ... plus a bunch of stage stuff like AKG D112's, C418's, C419's, C1000's... great for live percussion. ... 57's, 58's, EV 257's I had an early CS3e -- loved it, but returned it due to shielding issues -- understand those issues have been addressed, and will probably pick one up again someday. for now, I rely heavily on the CMiT5U and CMC6/41's... temp./condensation issues aside, they're my favorites by far. Now if I can just find a U47 sitting around at a garage sale... ~tt

BWilson
Nice to see what other people have in their kit, I used to live in a town where you might only see another brother/sister once every 6 months. My quiver of mic's are: 2 mkh416's 1 mkh70 1 mkh50 1 8050 1 cmit 5u 2 cmc6-41's 2 re50's 8 sanken cos11's 2 countryman b6's 4 EVW trams 4 rode lapels. dominiquegreffard
This list would probably be more helpfull with typicall work description associated with each mic: 1 sanken cs3e ( unpredictable and/or noisy environnement, run n gun, usually exterior ) 1 senn mkh50 ( reflective interiors, unscripted work, sitdown interviews 1 neuman kmr 81 ( scripted work quieter exterior ((the poor man's cmit5)) 1 stereo crown saas mkii ( usually stays home but goes out once in a while for nice atmos stuff ) 2 x cos 11 ( duh ) 6 x ost tl40 ( 95% of the quality of cos 11's for 1/4 of the price. Producer will notice more your lav color selection an anything else...) 1x countryman b6 ( tiny good for hiding, water resistant ) 1 k6/me66 ( usually mounted on camera. Sounds thin) 1 sm58 ( standard dynamic/stage mic for handheld stuff or for louuuudddd stuff )
