I've noted how the current AMC spy series Rubicon parallels the paranoia of both The Conversation and Three Days of the Condor. They even had an episode a few weeks back where one of the characters goes a little nuts and tears apart his apartment, desperately trying to find a listening device (which he finally locates).

The funny thing for me was: every time they find a bug in the show, it's a Tram TR50 microphone -- no battery, no transmitter, just a bare mike sitting there. Very funny to people in the know.

One of the best shows on TV, airing right before Mad Men on Sunday nights in the U.S.
