Wyatt Tuzo
I have the cable that SD provides, but its too damn short. I have a section of RJ12 cable here and wanted to see if anyone had experience with this before I go buy a crimper. It looks to me like the C.Link requires a crossover type cable. Any experience or input would be greatly appreciated. I would contact SD, but they are out for the weekend and my shoot is sunday. I suppose if I don't get this sorted out I'll just link TC and WC on their own cables, but having matching header TC would sure be nice. Thanks in advance, Wyatt

Wyatt Tuzo
I anticipated this, and preemptively stated: I would contact SD, but they are out for the weekend and my shoot is sunday. ...but I wont take the fun out of it for you :-) best, Wyatt
studiomprd
sorry, I missed that... really... but they have a 24/7 support forum... the connectors are standard, and IIRC the wiring is in the manual, and/or on the site... grab an ohmmeter, and one can always try it and see... Wyatt Tuzo
Sorry, I'm just seeing this now. I did make the cables. As I suspected, they turned out to be standard, rs-232 crossover type. Best, Wyatt Ps: I have a few extras that I won't need if anyone is interested.
