Jim Feeley
...and wasn't the song from your first film? http://jwsound.net/WP/?p=1040 Congratulations, Jim
Jeff Wexler
Cat Stevens (now Yusef Islam) wrote the song around the time we were working on "Harold and Maude" which was my first job on a movie. I was not doing sound yet, I was hired as a P.A., just a summer job, and assigned to the Art Department. I actually did quite a few sound related things for the movie and one of those things was assisting Bill Randall, the sound mixer, on the day we did the scene with Maude at the piano. I ran the playback track on a second Nagra III, playing "If You Want To Sing Out" for Ruth Gordon to sing and play piano to. So, I guess "Harold and Maude" really was my first job working in sound. dfisk
That was a cool video. I love seeing pictures from people's careers. I don't know what it is, I just find it really interesting. It's like each picture is a story all in itself that I want to hear.

RPSharman
I really love "Harold and Maude" and think it's so cool it was your first job on a movie. My first job was "Encino Man", which is nowhere near as cool, but it sure was fun!
