Yosuke Posted May 23, 2024 Report Posted May 23, 2024 Hi, I'm trying to make a male 5pin XLR to Female 3pin XLR x 2 for Sony Venice. Does anyone know how the wiring goes? I am pretty new to making my own cables but I've made a few normal XLR cables. Thank you
Conor Posted May 23, 2024 Report Posted May 23, 2024 1) Ground 2) Ch1 (+) 3) Ch1 (-) 4) Ch2 (+) 5) Ch2 (-) Usually I will just make it a single cable, not a splitter (so TA3F - XLR5M for example), and jump pins 2-4 and 3-5 for a dual mono track on the camera. We only ever send a mono feed anyway.
