RadoStefanov Posted October 7, 2024 Report Posted October 7, 2024 I have been using the Deity DQC2 for a bit and I believe that it deserves a praise. It has so many good things going for it. Size and weight are shockingly small and light. Having it in my kit does not take a lot of space especially considering the small charger brick. Build quality is superb and it seams like it can take a lot of abuse. Expandability makes it very flexible if you want to add more. But the best thing about it is the power design! It takes USBC charging. As somebody who had his Inspire energy 24V charger lost I really appreciate the USBC charging design. An apple Macbook charger or any other USBC charger will work “charging speed will vary”. You can also combine chargers. 2 45W 15v3A for total of 90W would be great. Now the included Sharge charger is a newer GAN that does not get hot at all and while charging only uses 70% of its capacity. You can also charge your other devices with it. I highly recommend you give it a try.
codyman Posted October 8, 2024 Report Posted October 8, 2024 Thinking of getting one to try to fix a bricked Remote Audio battery (says it's charged on my currently single bay charger, but then won't output anything and the meter on it is flashing all around). Figure best case scenario I fix it with the fix it mode on the charger, worst case scenario I end up with a two bay charger and buy another battery.
Masaki Hatsui Posted October 17, 2024 Report Posted October 17, 2024 I was also interested in this charger, but I've just seen another option from Betso : https://www.betso.eu/sb-charger Has anyone tried it?
codyman Posted October 18, 2024 Report Posted October 18, 2024 Got my charger, works great so far. Charges quick with 100 watt usb-c

No. Found a different charger on Amazon that was normally $35ish but was on sale for only $11 including the USB-C cable? It's a GaN charger apparently too, seems to be working well so can't complain. The batteries are charging quickly in a couple hours with no problems.

Gan is really cool…Pun intended.

Keep an eye on slickdeals.net as these random ones go on sale quite often. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0CY2PPHNN?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
osa Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 Just got my charger and getting used to having a charger that doesn’t come with a power supply. It is beautifully compact for sure compared to the chargers I’ve had in the past. Am I understanding correctly that it’s OK to use any power source under 100 W Like my 87 W MacBook Pro charger USB-C would work ok without any issues? Has anyone used other USB-C sources and do they charge OK just taking a lot longer? Curious to know user experience with chargers like iPad chargers etc

So if you're traveling to a spot, the Macbook Pro charger you already take will work. No need to pack multiple power supplies.

I was amaized by the build quality. It looks like it's machined aluminium. You can't make it smaller. Even Jacques Sax is impressed 😉

Tempting...

osa Posted December 21, 2024 Report Posted December 21, 2024 There is def some science with usb-c chargers low wattage take longer time. Def took a long overnight vs relatively quick with an 87w apple charger BUT All work if you time it out right. There are some higher watt small block chargers that would be great to keep compact traveling.
