Cinela OSIX is the winner in my humble opinion. Granted, it's 5x more $ than the Rode, but once I got one, it's difficult to like anything else. For less $, the PSC Universal Shockmounts are light weight and functional if you are ok dealing with rubber bands.

Agreed, Cinela is hard to beat if cost is no object.

If cost is an object ... I think Rode has licensed Rycote's lyres, so the most critical part — the lyre — should be decent.  Rycote has fallen from grace a bit, but the basic tech is mostly pretty good.  I can't speak for the rest of setup (i.e. the part the Rode designed), but for the price, I'd imagine it's good enough.  I do have a Rode Zeppelin, and it's been pretty decent.  Definitely more resonant than my Cinela once I upgraded, but decent.

Ok,  call me thrifty. I have used the Rycote InVision Lyre system for years with all my mics with good results. Very customizable.

I use them, too... But part of what I like are the different weights/flexibility Rycote offers (or at least offered a few years ago). Do the red Rode lyres equal Rycote grey or black? That's probably discoverable, but worth checking. https://rycote.com/products/lyre/

And I recently bought a Radius Rad-1 mount (one of several systems they make for different mics). With Schoeps CMC641... So far so good, and anecdotally at least as good as the Rycote InVision Lyre system. But that's only a few not so tough days. And I can't compare it to Cinela. https://radiuswindshields.com/collections/rad-shock-mounts

I've used Cinela, Rycote and Radius, and the last I find very good, especially since - with my encouragement - they introduced a softer 55-shore hardness hoop: great for lighter mics (e.g. MKH 8000), especially if static. Performance is excellent (a slight edge on the Rycote standard lyres), but what I really like about them is that they are modular: the mic clips screw into the hoops, which opens the door for all sorts of options (e.g. MS without separate back-to-back clips). You can retrofit to Rycote InVision mounts/windshields etc. too, if you want to reuse those.

Cheers,

Roland
