Apcki Posted May 30 Report Posted May 30 Just curious how you guys are dealing with the crazy reflections coming off a led wall. Is it just handled in post? Quote
Johnny Karlsson Posted May 30 Report Posted May 30 Last time I shot on a volume stage, that was the least of my problems… it was all drowned out by the crazy loud fan system that had to be kept on to prevent the wall from overheating(!) Quote

Matthias Richter Posted June 1 Report Posted June 1 Was shooting 1899 for Netflix some years ago. Approx 60-70 days in front of a giant LED „Volume“. Wanted to install thick see-through curtains off frame to reduce bouncing echos. The LED-Sup canceled that idea the first day of shooting as it would have messed with the camera tracking (despite the GO in pre-prod). in the end all the props, set-buildings, actors, extras and team were enough to break up the bouncing reflections and as said the fans from the walls and from the „brain“ computers became the main issue.
