codyman Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 Antony Hurd (Does all the Lakers home/away games + 2nd half of the season of home games for the Dodgers) is wild to watch mix a live broadcast in the broadcast trailer. I sat in the Dodger's trailer with him once and he was just sitting there chatting away with me while doing the live broadcast like it was a sixth sense. I thought I was distracting him but I guess when you've been doing it 40+ years and thousands of games later, it's just another day at the ball park (literally). Quote
Ontariosound Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 Cool gig, but MLB broadcasts are tight shots of the player's faces, or the standard Center Field shot lined up to show the pitcher and Home Plate. I would pay for a locked off wide shot from about 20 rows up from behind Home Plate. in order to see defensive player movement and the speed of the hit ball. Sorry, just me ranting about current MLB broadcasts that leave me seasick with twitchy long lens tight shots. Quote
