48v Phantom Power stepped down to 5V DC Bias

Plugging a lav mic directly into a mixer and needing an adapter to achieve this. 
Cos-11 can handle between 3VDC to 10VDC. Adapter will be a 5P TA Male to 3P XLR Male. Connecting directly to a SD688. 

Anyone here built an adapter before? There's a lot of mixed info floating about to achieve this.

I second the recommendation for the ambient eumel. I have rented them from Trew for next to nothing.

Canford also have been making electret mic adapters for decades - I had one years back for a Bayer lav.
