raymondloyd Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 Hello, I just purchased an SD 633, and it's my first time using this model. Unfortunately, the playback isn’t working. When I press play, there’s complete silence in my headphones. I set the playback output to headphone only, but it still doesn’t work. I checked the manual, but couldn’t find any helpful information. Could you please assist me? Quote
Conor Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 Restore the factory default settings and try again Quote

Olle Sjostrom Posted November 13 Report Posted November 13 Iirc, but I might be wrong cus it’s been a WHILE, the monitor channels don’t actually reflect the real channels, ie if you recorded an LR mix, if you’re listening to LR you’re actually not listening to anything since the recorded order is now track 1,2 etc.. , you need to change the monitor to some other mode, but again I might be wrong .. that could be the 7 series mode actually just quickly reading the manual should give you an indication on screen where the sound is actually playing, but you’re saying the meters are moving but there’s no sound? LDstudios Posted November 14 Report Posted November 14 Does your headphone selection match your record armed tracks? If ISOs are record armed, but the LR mix track isn’t, nothing will playback with an LR headphone selection. I’ve made that mistake before! Quote
Mungo Posted November 17 Report Posted November 17 During playback the routing is out of function, all tracks are just played back, either with signal or with nothing. E.g. if you usually have routed LR to X1X2 and listen to X1X2 during recording, you won't get a signal during playback except you have had X1X2 armed and recorded before. Quote
