It's built for Intel. I cannot get it to work on my M1 Max Mac os 15.7.4 by running it double clicking the icon. Maybe some Sequoia security stuff? But no change after running it thru Sentinel. https://github.com/alienator88/Sentinel

Nah, It's more likely there is some snag somewhere. All my stuff runs close to everywhere. Did the console tell you anything?
Might also have to do with some entitlements perhaps. But, I've tested two Macbooks with M1's, and they both have no issues.

But, this is the first version to go public, so I did not expected perfection 🙂

Both MIDI and OSC seem to have only 127 steps of fader precision. For the full length of the fader that is app. 1 dB per step. That is not much precision, since ya all seem to be on the faders with silk gloves.
What I could do is 'stretch' the 127 steps in a range, so you get something like 'From -12 to +12', so you have 5 times more precision. (Assuming the default gain is set to be 'about' right.)
This means (if it's not clear already), fader on your control surface all the way down will be -12 in my mixer, all the way up would be +12. (Or any range of values as you would like it. My faders go from -700 to +400 (arbitrary choice).)
Would that be an idea?

I think the +/-12 precision would be good for the gain page but not for faders. I'd humbly suggest a logarithmic implementation where fully down is mute (not going to mix bus) but there is less precision at the bottom and more precision near 0dB.

metric halo 2882 with a 3D card update. it runs on 9-30VDC and you can add a ridiculous amount of digital IO. it’s best over ethernet (i use either a thunderbolt dock or the thunderbolt ethernet adapter and 3->2 adapter in a chain, ugly but it works), but it has a USB port as well and works just fine that way.

Why should I use this instead of DAWs like Pro Tools, Reaper, or Ableton? I’m asking because the price (€249.00) seems quite high to me.

If you could provide a free license, I’d be happy to give feedback, as I have experience with all three of these DAWs.

However, I only use Windows (no Mac).

redundant recording/mirroring, the buffer, timecode and metadata. similar to Boom and MHSession in that regard.
