Philip Perkins Posted June 29 Report Posted June 29 I'm very new to the 788T, having used 6xx and 744s forever. One thing that is very handy on the 6xx boxes is the ability to save what I'd call "scenes", ie the full user config of the machine including routing, track names and so on and then instantly recall them. In the 788 manual they say something about that info getting saved in the "sound devices" folder, but I have not been able to make that work yet. Any clues? I understand there are some 3rd party apps that do this, but I'd rather not have to have a laptop hooked up just to do this task. thx Quote
r.paterson Posted June 30 Report Posted June 30 I used to save settings on spare cf cards.. It's not like 6 series or 8 series..788t saved routing etc but I can't remember if it saved track names?.. It's in the 1st menu "quick" I think ? don't have 788t with me so going by memory.. But you save on a cf card specifically for recalling settings and not use that cf card for recording on.. Quote
