I'm playing with the idea of utlizing a Deity PR4 mixer/recorder with a Lectro DCR 822 receiver and a DCHT for camera hops. I won't be using a BDS as all components have internal batteries but of course, that's always an option.  I realize there are some limitations (outputs are 3.5mm) and inputs 3 & 4 are 3.5mm, so no locking capability. However with right angle connectors and strain relief, it could work and I would have a package weighting under 5 pounds with 4 input tracks plus L & R out.  The recorder is actually quite a capable unit.

I'm looking for a 3D fabricator to help me build a sleeve for the DCHT that I can attach to a swivel and the bottom of the PR4 cage. Any suggestions of Sound techs that are creating custom products?  Then I'll need to find a much smaller mixer bag. Ktek, Orca and Portabrace are all too wide, long, and deep for this package. Deity's bag will not hold an 822 in place. It's designed for smaller receivers. Thanks in advance.

Hi Irv,
welcome to the forum. I am curious, why you would not use a bag, e.g. like the one Deity shows on their PR4 procuct page and how you would carry or wear this with all devices stacked and Antennas away from your body. What swivel do you intend to use and for what purpose?

Anyhow, you might want to talk to @Daniel Kuffel from Kuffcakes3D .
