JonG Posted August 14 Report Posted August 14 For those of us who use Loon Boom Poles, one problem we share is a disintegrating bottom piece, and are left with a sharp metal end. Well our friend Daniel Kuffel has created a user replaceable alternative since we can no longer order parts from our dear departed friend Don. I got mine in the mail yesterday and was eager to try it out. They are made of a firm rubber and are available in a variety of colours at a very reasonable price. The original rubber piece came apart and disintegrated, which seems to be a common problem. It happened on this pole, which I bought used, so I don’t know how old it is. I have two other Loon boom poles that I bought directly from Don, and they have not fallen apart yet. But Daniel has made these available to Loon users to keep their booms going. Quote
