Using Betso slate for a PB project.  I do not see option for slate to be used as "dumb " reader.  Trying to input

TC via Lemo connector.  Slate keeps jamming the code.....   Would having a TCX-2+ be the only way to achieve this?

I would happy for a RTFM response...  🙂

thx,

Sharing the solution- From Betso.  Thank you - Jan!

__To allow that, you can select Menu / Wireless / Unit type to RF OFF + Menu / Time code / Jamming to Continuous + Menu / Time code / Jamming calibration to OFF, then it will take only LTC from the input and immediately shows any timecode, which is connected to LTC input._

Correction=- it works- but used as standalone without master clock controlling slate, the slate will repeatedly jam.  Not really work as a true "Dumb" tc device.

Would work most situations- but some ACs may be thrown by thinking you are rolling PB when you are not.

Isn't this what a "Jam Continuous" option is designed to do?

It appears that Betso and only the Denecke TS-TCB are slates that have a 'Jam Continuous" Option, outside of the Ambient one. Anyone know of any other?

I have an Ambient TC ecosystem, but also use a TS-C for slate. I'm looking for other options besides the Ambient slate that I can piggy-back a nano-lockit to so I can bring the slate into the C-Jam world. IDEALLY, a compact version but no options exist there. Yes, I can just purchase the Ambient, but looking for other possible options.
