Zack
Nothing compares to these epic cans!
Chris McCallum
I have the same problem as Justin mentioned when wearing my 280's, they isolate so well I am constantly taking them off to talk to people who aren't mic'd I just bought a new pair of 7506's and I find them far more comfortable than the Sennies but with less isolation obviously, so I plan top use the Sony's for day to day and the Sennies when I need to cut out the rest of the world
ShubiSnax
Sound Comfort Isolation Durability Price. Somewhat in that order. I think comfort is a big one. I like the sound and isolation from my Sennheiser 280's, but it feels like my head is in a vice grip over extended periods of time(yes even my small head thinks they are tight). I Usually use Sony cans as they are more comfortable but the pads don't like to last very long. I think I'm going to try the PSC softies and see how I like them. John Blankenship
I don't like the Softies but have been quite pleased with using Beyer DT250 velour-padded cushions which fit the 7506 cans nicely. Quite a few mixers have gone this route.
