The actor, 47, who is filming a movie in the area, was taken into custody at 6:33 a.m. and charged with domestic abuse and disturbing the peace, according to records from the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office. Cage was released Saturday afternoon and is scheduled to appear in court on May 31.
