aristotle_kumpis
So my Sennheiser G3 transmitter fell into a pond few weeks ago. After two days, it was working again. I was surprised. But last night it finally stopped working. Now it won't turn on. I'm thinking there is corroding going on. I know these units are cheap to replace, but is there anything else I could try to do? I-HEAR_YOU
Try some WD40 in it and give it a good shake and dry out!!! Worked for me.....ONCE!!
geordi
Taking the thing and letting it sit submerged in a bucket of uncooked rice for a few days *might* bring it back from the brink... If there isn't a security seal on the casing you might also try opening it and letting just the board sit in the rice, then blowing LIGHTLY with a can of air duster to clean it off after a couple days. Good luck.

studiomprd
" fell into a pond few weeks ago. After two days, it was working again. " of course we don't know how long it was in the pond, or how deep, or what initial cleaning was undertaken,or whayt attempts were made after it stopped working again... so a lot of variables, but... (depending, of course): are you really going to trust it after these further treatments weeks later??
