Philip Perkins
I've been a freelancer virtually all my adult life, most of it in the film/video biz. My 35-year-long self-employment is sometimes a source of confusion to loan officers etc. Today I was speaking with a loan person working on my house refi, and after some questions he asked if I had a website related to my business. I said that I did, but there was also this thing called IMDB which does (some) verification of its listings. This seemed to satisfy him better than my own site (as you might expect). Thanks, IMDB! phil p

I've gotten several wrongly attributed jobs removed over the years--keep trying. phil p
I-HEAR_YOU
My listing is so wrong I don't even try......I've done a lot of acting though!!! And I play the Sax....not sure when I learned that. Oh and I wear a cowboy hat!!!
Jeff Wexler
I was listed as an actor in "Ski Patrol II" for the longest time... took forever to get it removed. I wonder if that's why I wasn't called for "Ski Patrol III".
Michael Capulli
I have a DP credit for a silly 48hr film challenge short
John Blankenship
I've been frightfully neglectful in maintaining mine. My brother (who isn't even in the business, so I'm guessing it's a different Michael B.) has credit for one of my features. Philip's post makes a good point. Michael P Clark
I think I had 3 of me, when I discovered IMDB. Was amazed I was listed and I never heard of them. Took awhile to get them together, and have some crazy stuff deleted. I was a DP for a movie in 1968. Yeah, not born yet! When I went to my first interview, they had my IMDB page on top of my resume. Was glad to have had it maintained well.
Philip Perkins
There are many producers who look at IMDB first and your own website only maybe..... phil p
WhyOne
About three or four years ago, IMDb revamped their data base and user interface, and it really is very easy to fix your listings now. One just has to register with them... Jay
