Very nice sounding dynamic mics for sound effects (gun fire, race car engines, tanks, etc) voice over work, broadcast radio etc. there is the PR-20 for Vocals or instruments. (think SM58, but much cleaner) the PR-30 (think EV RE-20) then the PR-40 (similiar to U87) for a fraction of the cost. got a rental back yesterday from a fellow who was using them to mic M-16's and an assortment of assault rifles and guns. he loved the mics sound and they handled the high spl from a few feet away. if you ever need to record any gunfire and dont want to damage your thousand dollor mics, try the heil mics out. the price is right and they sound great.
