Matti
Please, any impressions about the new player, esp. compared to the Schoeps "shotgun". Matti
Matt Mayer
I got to listen to it briefly at NAB. The rear rejection is pretty amazing. It's really small and light. We'll have to wait for production models to hit the field before we can listen to it critically. I can't remember if they quoted a list price or not, but I am sure it won't be cheap. ---Matt

Eric Burge
Yeah, according to Bruce Myers something between $1800-2000, a bit more than the CMIT 5U, but still competitive. It does sound really nice though, typical DPA. 50kHz fixed and 300kHz switchable roll-off if I recall, but don't quote me. Should be out in September. takev
Fernando, He, don't knock it, I have a customer for Boom Recorder that was actually using it for recording bats at 192 kHz, I guess he may have liked that microphone. Actually, I've seen some time ago an audio interface doing 384 kHz. I guess special effects people, biologist and other scientist would love it. Cheers, Take
