Brian Maier
I'm looking for either a link or the title of a short film where the First AD basically brings set life home. I think I originally saw it here or on ramps but i'm having no luck with my searches. Thanks.
old school
Hey Brian, it is called" Living with Lou" directed by a fellow sound mixer Steve Morrow. I think it is available at Amazon, or from Steves site. He posted the info here a month or so back. I'm a big fan of the movie and have shown many AD's the DVD Steve gave me. Sorry I don't have more info. CrewC

FSBELLA
I was a 1st AD for 5 years, before I had to get a "real job" . anyway, every line is great. 1st there is his son who forgets to 'call it out". then the line where Lou tells his daughter and her friends pillow fighting playing in the other room, "pantemime your background" , was great. I used that one with back ground before. and at the end, where the ac is "checking the gate". good job steve, brougt back a few hundred flashbacks. you pretty much nailed it.
