Jeff Wexler
Nice to see the Zephyx windscreen in use, Maxime Girard shooting in France (I'm sure it is s more popular item there than it is in the US). I have been very pleased with the Zephyx having done two movies so far where we used it on almost every exterior shot.
Derek H
Cool photo. It looks massive! Perhaps that's just the perspective of the photo? Does it compare well with the traditional Rycote setup? In terms of weight and balance for the operator? I assume the acoustics and wind protection is superb. I've almost ordered Cinela shock mounts probably a dozen times this year... Maybe in 2012!

Well balanced and lighter than Rycote, and wonderful sound --- basically little or no coloration of the sound or the polar (pickup) pattern of the microphone. RadoStefanov
Jeff you really like the letter Z. (: I am interested in Cinela Ziphyx solution but nobody sales Ziphyx or Cinela for mkh8000
Richard Lightstone, CAS
After seeing Maxime's series of photos on FB, it looks like he might be using this as a fixed microphone for set ambience. Perhaps he has a stereo microphone in there too?
Marc Wielage
Lots of info on Zephyx and the Cinela mounts here, including a mike compatibility chart: http://www.cinela.fr...php?language=en --Marc W.
soundmanjohn
Looks similar to the Soundfield SPS200-SB set-up to me. I have this system and am very pleased with it. The Zephyx suspension is ingenious and effective. Regards, John
VM
You can ask Cinela a special mount for the mic, or mic combinaison that you like. They will do it, unless they think it's not possible. Very light and very effective. You can also turn the mic in every directions. Yes, they are very popular here, in France, but Rycote is still very present.
