Similar to 'ghost drives' and what schools have been doing for years. You would still need a computer running the operating system and the VMware thing opens up a window in which you can control the remote computer. You need a central server running both the operating system you want to use, and a VMware client controller, which you would log into via a network (wireless or otherwise) using a device running the VMware view app. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But this is not just a simple Remote Access application and IMHO would be good enough for running Wave agent for emailing sound reports. But the ideal solution will be Windows 8 tablets...
