Richard Nault Posted January 17, 2012 Report Share Posted January 17, 2012 Probably won't be my most expensive repair/replacement, but look at what -22 Celcius can do to your Plastic Petrol bag cover. After we rolled on an interview outide, I flipped the cover back over the mixer and it cracked instantly! I'm having a hard enough time staying warm here in NYC in the 18 degree weather with wind whipping through the city streets. On a non I'm-examining-your-picture-way-too-closely note, Petrol should look into that. We are all in very extreme environments if we do field work for any length of time. It was a wonderfull trip that - with my first Nagra Portabrace case with a see through plastic window - didn't crack though. Was made in USA... In the past, all I've owned/seen from PortaBrace was cracked too...
