Phil Rosati Posted September 30, 2008 Report Share Posted September 30, 2008 Hey guys, I just wanted to check to see if anyone knows when the October 52 meeting is? I passed the test and am on the ballot for the vote in October. I have been getting in touch with union members I know to ask them to attend the meeting, but everyone always asks me when it is. Unfortunately, I am not supposed to know the date of the meeting, which I understand. I would just like to be able to tell others when it is if they ask, to try and get them to attend. I talked to Jan McLaughlin the other day and she mentioned that you're going to be working with her on some things coming up. Let me know when you find out, I'm waiting to hear as well. I had called last friday, the anticipation was killing me, and found out then, but of course was waiting for the official news. I know Jan was really vying for you to get in, she said you did an amazing job on Happy Tears. I'm gonna fill in for a friend, another boom op I know, on the thing she's gearing up for. Got my letter today and I'm finally in 52 after almost 2 years of trying so I'm looking forward to bigger and better things... Let me know how it works out for ya.
