Hello, I've used G3's and lectros on various blocks in China no problem. Never had any RF issues all over China. I also had no problem getting them through the airport in my bags on several occasions. I brought an entire sound package to Beijing in checked baggage 2 years ago with no "paperwork." Of course, there's always a risk. At any rate, a couple Senn G3's shouldn't be a problem. -Chris

A strange thing has happened. I renamed 2 files on my 788t. Easy enough. The new file names had a "+" before the scene number because they replaced existing files with same name. I can locate and play these files back on the machine no problem, but the CF card and the DVDRAM were both missing the files, replacing them with alias versions which could not be played and were zero kb in size. Stranger still, when I hook up my mac to the 788t and look at the files, I also only see the alias versions and cannot play them or even "get info." Attached is a picture of the files from the main internal drive. Any thoughts?

Anybody know the difference between "free run" and 24 hour run" on the 788t? I know "24 hour run" syncs to the clock for time of day, but normal "free run" can do that also. So, what is the difference and which should be used? Thanking you now

Who has worked with the sony f35? Any audio sync problems? Getting a 2 frame offset between audio and video. Also, the camera won't read the video sync on my Ambient Lockit box when the deck is off the camera.

Is "23.98" just another way to say "23.97"? Are they the same thing?

Boom Peoples (and mixers, I you like) :Straight vs. internally coiled cable? Which do you prefer? I've used straight internal cables for years. Was thinking about checking out the coiled thing on a 16-18 foot pole. It could be a trade off between convenience and weight/handling noise. Thoughts?

Anybody have experience with Loon Audio Boom Poles? Any opinions?
