Predrag
Hi All Any one used a lecro MM400 with counryman in the surf. How did it sound? How did you keep it fastened to surfer? Anything tips or anything I should be weary of? Thanks Predrag

Predrag
Thanks Rich Good thread, lots there. The shoot that I'm about to do involves me staying on dry land, as well as the camera. I'm hoping to mount the TX on surfers backs (as high as possible) and attach the Mic heads some how to the rash vest they will be wearing. Get some dipoles up. Cross fingers and see what happens. Guest Eric Lamontagne
Try LPDA antennas for a more directional RF pickup. They provide more gain = more distance. Good Luck Eric Lamontagne
jason porter
ditto on the LPDA. I am happy with my Lectro SNA600, but assuming the surfer is going to get out pretty far, you'll be safer with a more directional antenna. You may even want to mount it on a mast or boompole to get it up as high as possible. -Jason
FSBELLA
try a sna and sharkfin, omni and directional. and get them on a "boom pole mass" you will get great range. (football field easy)
