Nick Flowers
Do you dread the annual Christmas Card misery? The expense, the labour, estimating whether to send to those people or not? Fear not! I now pass on the answer I came up with a couple of seasons ago. 1: Open each card you receive carefully; you will need its envelope later. 2: Cross out the greeting within, preferably with blunt crayon, and stamp this instead. It will mean an initial outlay for the manufacture of the rubber stamp, but it is worth it. Stamp.tif 3: Fill in the name of the person who sent the card and the correct year. 4: Replace the card in its envelope and re-address it. If the recipients are not too objectionable, affix a postage stamp. 5: Pop it in the mail box, retire home, get drunk. I make no charge for this advice. Merry Christmas. Er...actually Daniel, that's part of the joke. The user of the stamp can't be bothered even to do that!
