I guess I'll be looking in to some sort of porta brace/petrol solution, especially since I tried using a random laptop bag from target today and it annoyed the piss out of me! Hey guys, Sorry to sound cheap and I know that porta brace makes high quality products but I really rather not spend $200 on a bag. I would much rather spend that extra money on gear!! I'm using a SD 702 and am looking for something under $100. I guess that I could just look for a random bag that fits but I'm wondering if there's something specifically tailored to audio? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Hey guys, First post on here and am liking it already! I am currently getting together a field setup to record SFX and am hopefully going to make the purchase before the new year so I can write that s#$t off!! I recently bought a rode NTG3 for my primary shotgun mic. I am now moving on to recorders. I've thought seriously about going ahead and buying a Sound Devices 702 but the price on that is kind of making me hesitant. I have this other idea to maybe get a Grace Lunatec V3, since its portable, can record and process up to 192Kand has great reviews, then just running that to a microtrack 2 since it will just be used to store the files. Would this work well? Would it be as good as a sound devices setup or should I just go ahead and step up with the big boys?? I have tons of questions about other equipment but I guess I'll start with that...haha! Thanks in advance guys!
