Seth Gilbert and Michael Krikorian (Kriky), hosted their 2nd Annual Sound Department's BBQ on May 25th 2008 in Van Nuys under cloudy skies.  It was fabulous.  Fun and geek talk for hours.

I hope they  continue this BBQ for years to come and make it an "Annual Sound Department Tradition". It’s a lot of work for the 2 folks organizing it.

The Chefs-

Seth did an Eastern Carolina Brisket, Eastern Carolina Pork Shoulder, Esquites (Mexican Style Corn), Eastern Carolina Style Cole Slaw and his home made sauce mix that makes the mouth water.

Kriky did a Texas Style Smoked Brisket with hickory wood, racks of Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Chicken and his homemade BBQ Sauce. For an appetizer he will make some ABTs (Atomic Bomb Turds) You never thought you would eat something with the word Turd in the name but kid you not you will be begging for more.

Lets have more of this!!!!!! There were 5 folks there over 50 the rest were the new group all under 30 years old. YES there is a future for sound outside 695.

I've been so crazy busy the last few weeks that I completely forgot to thank Seth and Kriky for their awesome bbq.  I had a great time and really enjoyed seeing everyone there.  Thanks again.
