inspire Posted March 28, 2024 Report Posted March 28, 2024 Here are some pictures taken in the German music store "Instrumente - Noten," located at Sonnenstr. 15, in Munich, during the winter of 2024. I was deeply inspired by the merchandise available in their store: a true musician's dream. Quote
The Documentary Sound Guy Posted March 28, 2024 Report Posted March 28, 2024 So many knobs! Don't you just want to turn them all? Quote
inspire Posted March 28, 2024 Author Report Posted March 28, 2024 I have one plugin from Arturia and I know they are serious makers, but such a matrix took me laugh (Arturia MatrixBrute). Look at this: https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/arturia-matrixbrute Knobs… I love knobs 😃 Quote
Werner Althaus Posted April 2, 2024 Report Posted April 2, 2024 FYI, the store is called "Hieber-Lindberg" and "Instrumente-Noten" refers to Instruments and sheet music. I remember the Lindberg mail-order catalogues from my youth. I assume this is that company. Quote
inspire Posted February 26 Author Report Posted February 26 Here are some fresh pictures taken in the German music store "Instrumente - Noten. I am back again today! Quote
Jim Feeley Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 Nice pix! Can you tell us more about that wild piano? Quote
inspire Posted February 26 Author Report Posted February 26 Not too much, but I add one more photo from its keyboard and a link from internet: https://bluthner.co.uk/ And it stays in the shops window. Quote
Jim Feeley Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 Thanks for the extra picture and link. Looks like Bluthner has a few wacky models (as well as some nice-looking pianos). Cool that you saw it in person. Did you play it a bit? If so, how'd it sound? https://bluthner.co.uk/pianos/design-editions/ph-edition-piano Quote
inspire Posted February 27 Author Report Posted February 27 I think there was also a request to not play the piano, but the answer is no. 124 000 € there is too much, but yes, it would be interesting to hear how it sounds! Quote
Jim Feeley Posted February 27 Report Posted February 27 Turns out there's a new PH at a piano store a few miles from me. It's a pretty great store.... I haven't been for several months... I'm going to go check it out. Not that my playing is anywhere near worthy. https://piedmontpiano.com/all-used-pianos/bl The store, Piedmont Piano Company, also keeps Fazioli pianos in stock, hold really nice concerts, and have lots of great new and used pianos. Traditional, and less traditional, like this aluminum Rippen (that I really don't know anything about). If you're ever in the San Francisco area, let's go visit! Quote
Richtrohr Posted April 7 Report Posted April 7 Calling Hieber Lindberg “Instrumente – Noten” makes as much sense as telling the story where I once had this wonderful sausage at a butcher called “Fleisch – Wurst”. 😄 Quote
