Wanting to find out from all the JW folk out there what you all use as a case/pouch/ bag for wireless lab kits like moleskin, topstick, medical, tape, extra mics, scissors, foam, etc for a more portable option. I've seen may guys out there use a briefcase type of case to hold all of that. Hi All, I was following the "basic package" - "standard kit" thread from a week or two ago, but didn't see any posts regarding what constitutes a "basic bag kit" and appropriate rates for such in Ontario, Canada and whether it's the basically same as U.S., Aus, U.K. How do ENG, Doc and corporate gigs in Canada compare regarding outlining a basic kit/gear package?   4. Hey everyone. I've been a boom op professionally in NYC for about 4 years now, but lately have decided to start buying some gear. I have taken out a loan of $15,000 and would love to buy a really smart, modest kit. I just really feel like its better to make a jump for the quality of gear I know I can get good sound with than to scrounge with crap. This would, in my mind be a small, but really solid start, probably not meant for features, but rather short films/docs/interviews, stuff like that. SO, NOW, IF EVERYONE HAD $15,000 TO BLOW ON THEIR DREAM START UP KIT, HOW WOULD THEY DO IT
