PTA
As a timecode toolbox, will the Deneke and Ambient iPhone apps always correctly identify a timecode source from camera? In other words, will it every display a different timecode rate than what the camera is actually recording when hooked up to the app? I'm just wondering if this is a reliable way to identify TC when you are unsure what frame rate to set something at like a TRX.
PTA
Just wondering if anybody has had any field experience with this, but I definitely am going to call Deneke and ask on Monday. :-)
Charlie Parra
Hi BDA, Yes, the Denecke TimecodeToolBox app correctly displays the incoming frame rate and can be used to verify (identify) a frame rate that you are uncertain of. I hope this helps! Best Regards, Charlie

Charlie Parra
Hi Jack, I wish I could tell you that it will be available soon, but sadly I can't. It is still on our "to do" list.
