Ben Sim Posted September 14, 2022 Report Posted September 14, 2022 I'm working with a Scorpio for the first time right now and I'm surprised that it still seems to have the same annoying issue I'm used to from my 633: When due to trouble I rename a take wrong so it's got a take name I already had, the recorder adds a A to the file because there can't be 2 files having the same name. (eg. 2-1-T02 and 2-1-T02A). That's good so far and it makes sense of course. But, when I'm changing the take afterwards to the right name or number (or into any name or number), which I haven't recorded yet the A will not disappear. It stays in the filename. Is there still no option to get rid of that? (Besides correcting it in WaveAgent afterwards.) Quote
rich Posted September 14, 2022 Report Posted September 14, 2022 in the take list, select the file with the A at the end, scroll down to RENAME, and you can delete the A there. Quote
