The Documentary Sound Guy
Any Wisycom users out there have issues with the MCR54 spontaneously changing its output routing? I recently rented an MCR54 from another mixer, and I found that, on bootup, both bottom outputs seemed to output channels 3/4, even though the menu said output 1 should have been sending ch1/2. Switching the output to AES and back seemed to reset things to match what was displayed in the menu, but this would only fix it until the next power cycle, when I'd be stuck with ch3/4 on both outputs again. I'm 95% sure this is a firmware bug, but just want to see if anyone else has experienced this and rule out user error on my part before I complain. Mattias Larsen
Havent experienced that, but there can be bleed inbetween the channels IF the corresponding TX is not turned on.
scoutstorm
I am curious to know which backplate you were using. I am using the superslot backplate and I do not have the routing changing after power cycling.
