Do the new Lectrosonics LMb Transmitters have the same power output as the previous discontinued LMa Transmitters? There has been discussion that the older LMa were rated at 50mw but have a power output closer to 70mw. Maybe Larry Fisher can chime in on this one. Hey Guys, I have been reading a lot of previous threads about camera hops but couldn't find one with people who have been using 2xLMa for TX and an SRa for a hop. I understand the range difference is the main issue with the LMa only providing 50Mw of RF power. But for the price difference I would love to get some opinions from guys who are currently using this set up in the field and are you finding that the 50Mw is providing a reliable enough signal or are you finding yourself hugging you camera guy to avoid dropouts. Hey folks, Some time back, I made the mistake of purchasing a pair of Lectrosonic LMa/UCR 100's. I wasn't happy with the sound, and rarely took them out. Now, as I'm gearing up for this film, I'm wondering if I can make some kind of Comtek system out of them for my clients. Could that work? Rachel

I want to upgrade g3 to LMa R1a combo. I have difficult time finding info on 3.5 to TA5 cable. I would have contacted Lectro and/or Sound Devices, but believe this is a question to an end user.
