Fritz Posted August 22, 2021 Report Posted August 22, 2021 It seems current versions of PT '21 work under Rosetta 2. But I can't find any info with regard to Izotope under Rosetta 2 on an M1 mini other than "not compatible with M1..." Is anyone using this combo? Quote
Naga Posted August 22, 2021 Report Posted August 22, 2021 I use izotope RX8 on my M1 Mac mini and have no problems. However, the current version of Protools does not support video, so you need to consider whether to use it or not. If you are working with video, I think you should use version 2021.3. Quote
Fritz Posted August 22, 2021 Author Report Posted August 22, 2021 Excellent! I assume both RX and PT are running under Rosetta 2? And no problems with modules in stand alone (app) RX or as plugs in PT? Quote
Naga Posted August 22, 2021 Report Posted August 22, 2021 Both Protools and RX run at a satisfactory speed with Rosseta2. As for RX, I mainly use the standalone version so I haven't tried all the plug-ins, but as far as I can tell, the plug-ins work fine Quote
D Clay Audio Posted January 11, 2024 Report Posted January 11, 2024 Yep. Using RX at work and at home both on M1 Macs. No issues at all. Works great Quote
