Tom Visser
http://www.equatoraudio.com/D_Series_Studio_Monitors_s/43.htm I thought these looked like really interesting compact monitors for field use and have an optional soft bag. Equator audio is Ted Keffalo's new company and I always loved his dual concentric phase coherent designs in the form of the old KEF reference monitors for hi-fi. At $299 per pair, they seem to represent a tremendous value, was thinking of picking up a pair for myself at some point.

The concentric driver design reminds me of the Tannoy line of speakers which I always liked a lot. I used to have a pair of 12 inch Tannoy monitors that really sounded nice. At $300 a pair and the money back guarantee they're worth a shot. Bernie
