If the output on the 788 is a balanced connection then it's pin 1 to pin one for the ground. Pin 2 on the the TA3 to pin 5 on the TA5 for line in. you mean the 7 one? https://www.lectrosonics.com/Support/Microphone-Wiring/uhf-transmitter-5-pin-input-jack-wiring.html ? pin 1 and 3 are jumped together also. what confuses me is that the wiring, in any case, doesn't seem to be balanced. pin 2 (hot ) goes on 5 and pin 3 (cold) goes always jumped to the ground (pin 1) so at end we have a sort of 2 wire connections, like the sennheisers evolutions.

is there any differences in line wiring for servo and non servo lectrosonics transmitters?

this is hard to accomplish especially with budget Chinese connectors, ill buy more expensive one with an ipx cable already wired on the distances involved here are around 15 meters with some wall in between, I've already done some other sma replacement and it works good, much stronger than this one. as I've said I have replaced again the stock antenna and nothing changed. I can use this receiver anyway, avoiding to use where have long distances involved, but id like to have all my gear at 100%.(also the spares)

I have replaced the antenna on the receiver with a sma connector, and tested it with the new antenna, i switched on a tx and moved quite far, with 2 receivers on, the new modified and one standard, this one had a stronger rf, I did replace the standard antenna and nothing changed, the rf was still weaker. so I supposed that the problem could exist already before having fiddled with antennas, my suspicion was about having done what is your idea?

does any 50-ohm sma splitter work?

can I combine the ucr 411s with sennheisers g2, g3, 2000 on the PSC RF Multi SMA, considering that lectros are diversity while all Sennheiser I have just one sma antenna wired on each?

to wire the ucr 411s do I need a just bnc-sma cable adapter?

I have 2 Lectrosonics UCR 411, (block 26 -29) and several Sennheiser EK 100 G2, G3 and 2000, the latter are all with sma connector with external whip antennas, what do I need to combine all of them and use with a shark directional antenna? can I do it?

On TSA regulations, I am reading that spare batteries exceeding 100 WH are not allowed also in the checked luggage, what is your experience about it. Since I have 2 V-Mounts camera batteries with dtap, (1 of 98 Wh and one 165 Wh) I thought to carry the 98 on the cabin in the bag with my sound devices and leave the 175 Wh in the pelican case suitcase for checkin with the rest of the equipment, (cable, receivers etc.)

when traveling (flying) do you carry your sound devices and wireless mics in the cabin or have you ever boarded at check-in in a Pelicase, saving yourself from a headache at airport checks. What do you board and what do you absolutely bring with you in the cabin?

Can you suggest some alternative 9 volts rechargeable batteries to ipowers, the li-ions are much less expensive, they give 8.4 volts when fully charged ( as the i powers )and are up to 800 mah, why still seems there is nothing to use than the ipowers? i have read the lectro faq about that but is quite old and don't consider these new li-ions much more effective.

sorry to resuscitate this thread, I 've bought a used Sennheiser 2000 mainly to send scratch audio to cameras and using 1 2000 Rx + 2 g2 rxs, the point is that it is an only 50mw while for the US market normally it is a 100 mW. anyone know to upgrade this? is a firmware issue? I've heard that it takes a software to accomplish this improvement, do you know something more detailed?

anyone knows how to bring the EU version 50 MW of rf power on a sk2000 Sennheiser to 100 MW? (like the US version?)
